Leftover Beauties is a series of nine oil paintings through which I offer a glimpse into an intimate universe where the everyday becomes extraordinary. It comes from the way coins fall onto a carpet, a pair of brand new ballet flats, or the book that you can always find inside my bag. From the beauty I find in the fleeting moments that surround us daily.
Each painting represents a fragment of my own intimacy —now shared— where the objects feel close, tangible, and full of narrative. In them, I seek the aesthetic pleasure that goes unnoticed in our daily lives, where, driven by immediacy, we tend to overlook the essential.
In my proccess, patient and meticulous, the digital plays an important role, helping me to capture these scenes and dive into the details. The result is a series of still lifes that blend the essence of the traditional with the contemporary rhythm, turning a brief moment into a lasting, real, and palpable testimony.
Through this show, I want to invite the viewer to stand in front of each piece and appreciate its composition and detail. It’s a visual invitation to slow down and, in a reality filled with fleeting impulses, embrace the beauty of the everyday.
